RockCloud · China direct private line

“The Chinese internet has conditions of its own, so RockCloud provisions China Telecom’s premium CN2 GIA private lines. The corridor bypasses the congested public internet and gives traffic in and out of mainland China VIP-grade transport.

Wherever your origin sits, once it rides a CN2 route your users in China get the smoothness of a local network — no more stalling, no more packet loss.”

Routing and private-line interconnection

Beyond China Telecom CN2 GIA, we work closely with China Unicom CU Premium (AS9929) and China Mobile CMI to build a return path that connects directly to all three national carriers.

Latency-based routing

Real-time monitoring of 150,000+ source/destination IP pairs lets us collect latency and connection-quality data from every location.

Analysing more than 600,000+ netflows every second, we steer each visitor to the lowest-latency endpoint automatically.

Direct interconnection with Tier-1 carriers

Our upstream includes 14 Tier-1 transit providers plus private network interconnects with more than 300 global ISPs.

Global private
CN2 GIA backbone

RockCloud folds CN2 GIA private lines into its global backbone, so traffic from any PoP worldwide enters the CN2 corridor at the nearest ingress and travels straight into China.

It is the most stable and most efficient network design available for cross-border workloads today.

Densely racked cache server nodes, each labelled and wired with blue network patch cables

Edge nodes deployed around China

To cut latency further, we run a dense fleet of high-spec edge nodes in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Singapore. Each connects to the mainland over CN2, so you skip the ICP filing process while still delivering close to domestic speed.

Network security and DDoS protection

RockCloud’s Anycast architecture combines CN2 acceleration with unmetered DDoS mitigation.
You no longer have to trade speed for protection: your workloads keep the full CN2 fast path while sitting behind a hardened security perimeter.

Security

Security is our foundation. Every RockCloud product ships with the following.

  • TLS 1.3 and free SSL certificates
  • TCP hijacking prevention
  • Malicious bot detection
  • Rate limiting
  • Granular allow and deny lists
  • AI-powered cloud WAF

DDoS protection

RockCloud services include a proprietary DDoS mitigation system that detects and absorbs protocol and volumetric attacks in under five seconds without slowing delivery.

  • UDP floods
  • NTP amplification
  • DNS amplification
  • CC (HTTP flood) attacks
  • SYN floods
